Portola Railroad Days

The Railroad Days Association members have been laying track every Friday since October planning this year’s big event, which promises to be more spectacular than ever!

We had another logo contest in January for our buttons, T-shirts and other promotional materials, choosing a design by Donna Mills. The spunky new design features our own version of The Little Engine that Could—on steroids!

We’ll have all your favorite activities from years past at this year’s event, as well as a few new and exciting ones. If you witnessed the "Rock Crawler Show" downtown last year, you won’t want to miss it this year! Big tires! Big Trucks! Big noise! Rock’N!

The Classic Car Show and Shine is also back by popular demand and stages once again by the Portola City Park. Breathtaking hunks of chrome and steel! They don’t make them like they used to boys!

Check out the Railroad Museum, enjoy the carnival, visit our merchants, dance to live music until you drop. Plan to bring the whole family and celebrate our rich and colorful railroad history!
